Description
Teaching your 7th-grade students to compare and contrast an informational text to a visual medium? Do they need to analyze each medium’s depiction of the subject matter? This 36-page mini-unit includes all you need to check for understanding of RI.7.7.
With this standards-based resource, students will have the opportunity to read 2 nonfiction passages and use passage prompts to cite evidence and analyze each selection. Students will work with a Venn diagram graphic organizer and do their own research.
