In this standards-based resource, your students will use 4 passages and passage prompts to identify individuals, ideas, and events in a text, and to explain how they’re connected. Students will also analyze connections and distinctions between individuals, ideas, and events. This 48 page mini-unit includes all you need to check for understanding and mastery of RI.8.3 with a summative assessment and rubric.
All answer keys are also included, as well as a teacher guide breaking down the standard into learning targets and Depth of Knowledge (DOK) stages.
